🪴 God meets you in the dirt + Holy Week
There is a parable found in Luke 13 about a fig tree that is suffering and yet the vinedresser intervenes and says, “Don’t cut it down. I will kneel in the dirt in order to save, take care of, and love this tree.”
You are this tree — in the midst of your suffering & in the midst of your dirt — God, the Vinedresser, meets you right there.
Holy Week is a week set aside to remember how God intervened in the midst of your suffering by sending Jesus to earth to suffer with His people. Jesus literally kneeled in the dirt as He was beaten, bruised & whipped on His journey to the cross – where Jesus died for you & rose again —in order to save you, to take care of you & to love you.
This is still true today.
Join us this week (see below) as we remember Jesus’ journey to the cross — where God met us in the dirt to love you and me.
